Texas vs Arkansas game thread.

Gotta love how we need Diggs to make special teams stops because everyone else is so bad.

 

I am happy this is #33 Steve Edmond's last game.

I'm not happy that this isn't Chuck's last UT defense

 

Cool. Since we are such great pals now, can you get me an autograph from your coach and some fifty yard line seats at your stadium. I have always wanted a degree from UT. Will you let me go to your school?

Duke Thomas laid down on that TD pass. He just watched the receiver go by, and trotted after him, watching him catch the TD pass. Pathetic.

I am shocked by our pass defense against this pass offense. Did not expect this.

So far I'm really impressed by the way we "coached 'em up" over those 16 extra days of practice.

 

Hughes just ole'd the defensive tackle, giving him a free, open shot on Swoopes.

 

"If Swoopes is the starting qb next year something is terribly wrong." AND "They are flat kicking our ***."

Amen on both counts.

 

This team is playing the same as at the start of the year. Not a good sign of things to come.....

Swoopes is awful, but the defense is equally bad tonight. Getting manhandled!

 

Anyone confident about our September 5th opener at Notre Dame next season?

 

I am confident about Notre Dame. Either we have Heard or Swoopes is vastly improved. We also have a backup either way.

However, if Charlie refuses to realize offenses have to score, we will not be relevant for a few more years.

 

I'm not sure how much more of this **** I can take. I got an appt at 7am, it's looking like it's not worth staying up to just watch us get our *** kicked.

 

Not confident about anything at this point.

 

No more drinking the kool aid for me. I'm tired of being disappointed by this team. Forget about the offense. I'm talking about the D.

With a talented defensive roster and plenty of time to prepare, we are being pushed around the field. Even with little help on the other side of the ball, our defense has failed to perform all too often, starting with the BYU debacle.

I'm concerned, and also disgusted.
