70-66 us 3:30 left we are on a 10-2 run. I hate these close games we just find a way to lose them hope they pull it off this time

As long as they don’t allow young to get hot I think we are in good shape

Wow! Behind the back slam by Mo!

This team could be top ten if it could hit some free throws! GREAT WIN!!!!!

Can't believe Osetkowski didn't get the ball in. He had an open man. You can't turn it over without any time coming off the clock. Luckily we have time-outs.

BTW, Coleman might not be as good as Young, but he is one really good PG that continues to get better and hopefully will be around for at least three seasons.

Big win. Big win. Over OU (sucks) with a huge crowd. Just think if that showed up every game. This program would blow up. Recruits would love it.

Great win that was needed after the meltdown in Lubbock.

I have one negative observation. This has been season long. Dylan O cannot make that 5 foot shoot directly in front of the hoop. He hits front iron every damn time. Please practice that shoot every day and just put a little arch on it.

Good observation. He has missed quite a few easy shots this year, but nonetheless a great addition to the team.

And that should be the Horns tied for first place with Kansas right now!

I don't know. Losing on the road to a top 10 team by a buzzer beater in overtime doesn't fit the criteria for a meltdown to me.

I have heard that hitting the front of the rim like that is a sign of tired legs.
Dylan was on the bench last year so maybe the season is taking a toll about now.
Actually, I have noticed this from more players than just Dylan.
College season is a grind for the freshmen as well.
Some of our players may be looking for a second wind about now.

Yes, but you gotta know that and get more arch on the ball and it will go in. Good game though. Still too many boneheaded turnovers, but it's a win against the #12 team. I'll take it.

"when you have a chance to put a team away by hitting free throws you sure missed a golden opportunity."

Yes, and I would say they ( Coleman) choked a bit at the end there but it was not a melt down.
The 30 point loss at WV was a melt down.

Kansas is tied with TTech at 7-3.
How can the Horns be tied for first at 5-5?

Noticed that too. I see it as Big O not wanting to pass the ball into the corner (which is where Roach cut to) since he’d be a sitting duck for a trap. Also, Big O could be selective because he knew we had a TO as we were coming out of a TO and it’d be too bush league to not know. I thought for a second that O of course knows Roach struggles at the FT line and thought better of passing but what’s the point of him being out there if his teammates aren’t gonna throw him the ball?

Good analysis. Seemed like Roach was talking to him a bit about it after the TO. I supposed it could be said that Big O kept his cool knowing he had that TO in his pocket.
