DJT has an opportunity to inspire America in front of him. Get healthy, lose some weight. Feel free to turn it into a weightloss reality show, I don't care. Lefties bent on fat-shaming you need to back the f**k off. DJT should have simply said his real height and weight then said, watch me lose this weight and I challenge America. That's a narcissistic act I could support.

Breaking the record is becoming normal for this administrating. This has to be over 80 records broken now with the Market. Winning never gets tiring.

Funny thing is the libs on the board dislikes his success. They would rather him fail and it hurt America than he succeed and have us winning over and over. Because if they didn't, they'd have to admit he is one hell of a President.

I'm not hung up on the stock market because it is not the economy. History shows that the market goes up then comes down. I do think it isn't wise to continue to trumpet the stock market because when the current bubble pops, you'd have to them blame Trump too, right?

I like good economic numbers no matter the letter behind the POTUS' name.

Of course the Market goes up and down. What kind of statement is that? That's not what we're talking about. You act like what is happening right now is common. It's never gone to this level ever and not even close.

Of course there's going to be a correction. It always does. But experts thought it would happen at the 20,000 range many months ago. It's over 26,000 right now. So even a big correction would still be higher than ever before at anytime when at it's peak. Unless we have another 9-11 I don't see it dropping to the level that it was before his Presidency. Money is exchanging hands with the tax cuts, regulation cuts, and more [people working. The confidence is out of this world toward our economy.

now why would it be Trump's fault?

By then, I'm sure the organized resistance by the former POTUS will have taken a measured effect upon the conditions.

If Trump policies are what's feeding the market (which I would say they are, in large part), then that's good. But if as you say the market is inflated (which it likely is) and if it is headed for a correction (which could certainly happen), then that would be the market at work, not Trump messing something up.

No, the market is not the economy, but the economy's growing faster than it ever did under Obama, who told us over and over that 1 percent growth was the new normal and that we needed to get used to it.

Maybe they can get him impeached for being fat. So far they've failed at Russia collusion and mental incompetence, and I'm really interested to see how it will look when they try to impeach him for using the s-word in front of Dick Durbin. Basically all they'll have left after that is the porn star hookup and a starburst fetish.

Overstaying a visa is one way. Either way, since the prosecutor has the burden of proof and since the Fifth Amendment protects the defendant from having to testify against himself, it would be up to the persecutor to prove how he got in.

If the feds decide to charge somebody with illegal entry, they can simply have a judge issue a warrant for the alien's arrest, and even a sanctuary city has to turn him over. However, that isn't what's happening. Instead ICE is issuing a detainer to hold the person after the person has already served his time for the underlying crime. A detainer is not a warrant, and it isn't issued incident to charging a person with a crime. So if the city holds the person under a detainer, it's holding the person without a warrant or any probable cause of a crime being committed. That violates the 4th Amendment.

If a state or city refuses to enforce Federal law, the Feds can cut off funds it gives to the state or city for enforcement of Federal laws. Problem is, there is no such funding.

It is settled law that cutting any other funding is an unconstitutional intrusion on on states’ rights.

OK ... except that the magnitude of this illegal immigration problem has reached the point we don't have the federal resources to provide "same day service" from a city who has arrested/otherwise detained a person for another infraction/offense who is found to be in the country illegally.

That said ... I find it difficult to believe a city couldn't be "processing" with sufficient time as to have the Fed paddywagon roll by and take custody of the offenders.

I'd liken the resources of ICE/CBP necessary to "promptly" take custody to the USAF's airlift of all Army in a short period of deployment time.

We can't afford to have that much airlift sitting around waiting to deploy the bulk of the Army in short order ... so ... we have the CRAF ... flag carriers are required to have a percentage of their heavy airlift designated to augment the USAF for this very thing.

it seems a similar arrangement needs to be made between ICE/CBP and the State/locals. Just saying "give 'em a pass" does NOTHING for the integrity of the law.

yeah ... it's not like highway money has never been withheld to get homosexual "marriage" ... or whatever.

Oh wait ... very much this in AZ with Sheriff Joe. FED:
"Stop (doing your job) or we're going to withhold highway money to AZ"

After doing a little research, it is clear that the Feds could easily withhold billions of dollars from sanctuary cities.

It's not about resources. Some states and cities affirmatively don't want to help the federal government do its job. They don't have to. If ICE wants to detain people, then it's on them to go apprehend them.

SCOTUS proclaimed the sanctuary cities do have to comply to an extent when it comes to providing info.

That's an entirely separately matter. That's about a state choosing to assist the feds, not about a state choosing not to.

It's not like my DL weight is accurate. I mean raise your hands on that one. I'm leaving mine there as a test of the system. It's just funny that a 71 year old man has massaged his height/weight in that manner and it speaks to the narcissism. The pictures that show other men who are 6-3 and 239 are funny. This physician is reputable and respectable. The last quack he rolled out to share his health history, not so much. Hell, I'm surprised he didn't list his penis size - flaccid and erect. I don't care in the least bit about any of this accept to giggle about it.

The impeachable offenses are obstruction of justice, money laundering, treason, et al. Just know that much like the combine unmasks a lot of fakers, when he's booked it will list his real height and weight. The only mystery left with be those "large hands". :)

Just curious...when did we start trusting the Executive Branch's jobs data?
