retailers ask for your phone number so they can send you coupons and information on upcoming sales, not to sell your information or tele-market you. if you are in a store spending money, than you have some sort of desire for that product, why not give your number? asking for your zip has no benefit for the customer, it only helps the retailer collect customer demographic data. f that. i refuse most tips jars. if i have to come to the counter, than i am serving myself and you do not deserve a tip...bars not included.
Help people move... In some situations. Just got a t/m at 930 today to help some friends move from 2 dif apartments to the same house (3 ppl 2 dif apts). One is on pace to make 6 figures, the other a solid 60-70k, the other 30-40k. Sorry folks but you can either hire a moving co for 100 each or get a van w/ 2 or 3 of home depots finest for around the same price if not less. If they were my Close friends then possibly, but when you make that much $, f it.
Go to the movies. I refuse to pay the exorbitant ticket prices only to be inundated with inconsiderate people. I will just rent the movie and watch it at my leisure. Buy a brand-new vehicle. I will buy a slightly used 1 or 2-year-old vehicle so I don't get hit with the initial depreciation. Buy an American-made vehicle. American-made vehicles seem to be designed to generate revenue from their service centers rather than to generate an image of quality.
Go shopping with my wife. Look ladies....face it....MEN HATE TO SHOP......if they tell you differently, they are lying. We still love you, but don't drag us to a mall! If you want to shop for a few hours....spend some quality time with yourself!
shotgun, I'm the same way. Renting a movie and piling in someone's living room to watch it is cheaper and much more fun, IMO.
