I didn't see Joseph as a first round pick, but Joseph was also a better player than Kabongo. But then again, the NBA doesn't really draft based on how good of a player someone is.
Joseph may not have the raw physical ability that Kabongo has, but the former was light years ahead of the latter mentally.
