Obama was well aware Turkey facilitates ISIS's oil trade. It was made public even with satellite pics showing proof years back. He didn't want to rock the boat and demand they stop due to fear of losing use of their military facilities. So our president allows our ally to massively fund the enemy (attracting and compensating their fighters, funding new weapons acquisition) while we use their country to launch intermittent, sparsely effective attacks. What a sh*tshow BO was.
Another note on Turkey. In their attempts to "modernize their education curriculum" they are removing evolution. This alternative fact movement must be contagious.
The US has suspended all non-immigrant visas with Turkey after a US consulate employee was arrested by the Turkish government. The Ban includes business, tourism, medical treatment, student, exchange visitor, crew member, media, treaty trader, diplomatic & official visas This comes 4 months after 19 people, including 15 Turkish security officials, were charged for violence in the infamous DC brawl. Relations between the US & Turkey are getting worse showing no signs of improving.
