Lucky for him he won't have to transfer out of state. Stoops probably called him five minutes after this news got out.
Don't think he will end up at OU.....many programs are in process of being cleaned up as more and more schools seem to be following the lead of C Strong ; fewer schools are going to take a chance on any athlete that displays violent behavior or character....color is not the issue. This expectation should be clearly understood by all student / athletes when they receive scholarships (actually all people, not only athletes and other celebs, should understand that behavior such as this is not acceptable and will warrant appropriate punishment.)
I think OU officials were genuinely surprised how much hell they caught over that girlfriend-beating receiver from Missouri. The NCAA committee hearing the petition for an extra year of eligibility met OU's request with a combination of hostility/incredulity. Likely OU will end up wasting scholarship, training, coaching and goodwill on a guy who will head to the NFL without playing a down for Sooners. That's not a mistake even felon-lovers will repeat.
