I've never understood why cup and/or athletic supporter usage dwindles to such low levels when players advance in a sport. Seems like everyone wears one in Pop Warner and middle school, then there's a noticeable drop off in HS, then more in college.

Restrictive feeling or not, I don't think the players really notice it in the middle of a play.
