Opens 2nd half 34-24 before TT finally scores.

 

Its really important Texas keeps its poise and doesn't lose the game in the last minutes. Maintain focus, stick to the plan. No stupid turnovers.

 

Yeah, is this going to be another build the lead, give it up, then come down to the last minute?

 

We've seen it so many times it's impossible for me not to be concerned about that.

 

Roach is playing within himself. He has not tried too hard, or rushed it, and has not made the unforced errors that have been all too common in past games. He seems very different tonight. I wonder if the Jones illness has made him more focused.

Why has Bamba moved out to the top of the key on defense allowing easy layups for ttu?

 

ok, he was back near the hoop last possession. ttu still scored, but Bamba was at least in position.

 

The whole team seems more settled and more focused. Nice!

 

Maybe that Bamba basket gets us back in it?

Jekyll and Hyde. World beaters or bottom feeders; never know who were going to get from one game to the next. So frustrating. Good win though. Big 12 is nuts.

 

It really is nuts. Go figure. If this team can mature a little bit, and learn how to keep their poise in the final 10 minutes, cut down on 2nd half turnovers, then they will win enough to get a decent seed in the tourney. If not, they won't make the tourney.

I've learned that I shouldn't watch games. I turned on the OSU game and immediately started the collapse. I keep this one turned off, and we crank out our best performance in conference play.
