F-spooner, for reals? Real fun! Was watching the Talking Heads live the other day. Stop Making Sense must've been one helluva tour to see in person.
Dont know about the Stop Making sense tour but saw the tour which The Name of This Band ... came from. was fantastic. FisherSpoon !! Love it
What I know of Dire Straits, Sultans of Swing type stuff, I don't like. I guess I don't like the radio stuff. But I do like what you put up. I was the same way with The Kinks. Never got into them but a buddy way into their whole catalog made me a cd of what he considered their best stuff and it blew me the F away. They are amazing.
You don't want "your money for nothing and your chicks (of many nationalities of course) for free," serpent? Won't you ever "do the walk of life" properly? Same as it ever was, same as it ever was. Watching the days go by, on Hornfans. Snek "burning down the house," or thread. Why not "come dancing" slithering one, "it's only natural."

My sense of this thread is that most of us here enjoy/prefer music that is not current and popular? Hope this is correct Because this Brit takes apart what is current and popular (and so, if you are a fan of modern pop music, probably better not to watch)
I was at the Bookpeople coffee shop today and this song played overhead. It's not one of Dion's most popular songs but I like it.
Dion liking a song by Dion, so typical. You need a musical group of your own for Hornfans. Lets see, how about Dion & The Bad Posters. Dion & The Trolls. Dion & The Mods. (moderators) Dion & The Belmont Hall. Dion & snek's Elusive Exotic Princess. Dion & Mira Sorvino's Ice Cream Cone. Dion & The Gap Kids. Dion & Natalie's Pom Pom. This might deserve it's own thread, so many names, so little bandwith. It's safe to say that soon "all your songs will belongs to Dion."
In D.C. I managed a restaurant that had a big 50'/60's theme and I really grew an appreciation for that song and others like it. Some got really old really quick but I Wonder WHy is not one of them.
