I am a big fan of Beer. A lot of beers are mass-produced, and watered down for maximum profit. Shiner Bock, believe it or not, only makes one beer, Shiner Blonde. The rest of the beers have added color and/or flavoring to produce the desired effect. I imagine the other breweries (Miller, Anheuser, Etc..) do the same with their products. So, I am talking about true brews, made for flavor from malts and hops that produce great beers. My vote goes to ABITA TURBODOG so far, but, I will try more beers if recommended by the Hornfans!!!!

One of the best beers I've had. And i have to agree with the previous poster, Abita is utter crap dude. To each his own i guess.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is to me, the perfect beer. Waterloo's Ed's Best Bitter used to be. But Steve doesn't brew it anymore.
Shiner only makes one beer? Please. You're an idiot. Its impossible to go from Shiner Blonde to a Hefeweizen by just adding color. Also even people from Louisiana will say Shiner is better then Abita. Also, best beer has to be Busch.
the best beer is an impossible question for me to answer I love so many different ones and it all depends on mood. its just too hard to name ONE if I was forced...Sierra Nevada pale ale is always my go too beer when I dont know what I want and its always good to me...and I never get tired of it
That comment about Shiner might be one of the dumbest things posted on Esther's. The correct answer to what is the best beer is Saisson DuPont.
Over the past 6 months I've tried over 125 different beers and I've come to realize I'm a lager guy, Mexican lagers are my favorite, Pacifico tops my list.

Vicerous - I went to Dogfish Head Ale House for lunch yesterday. I had the cajun eggrolls and blackened chicken sandwich with Chickory Stout. Pretty damn good. Chimay White is my favorite but all are spectacular! La Rossa ts a Triple Boc that is brownish red in color. Taste similar to New Castle but a little more bitter and is meant to be drunk with spicy food.
