Did some massive wreck shut down the whole highway around 290/2222? Or was this another misguided road repaving project in a part of the city that doesn't need it?

I heard on the radio that there was a fatality wreck on I-35 near 51st street last night. That's the third one in as many weeks along that same stretch of road.

5 teens flipped over in an SUV, one died.

Think they swerved and got hit by an 18-wheeler.

The kids in front were wearing seat belts, but the kids in back weren't.

that area between 7th and 40th has got to be one of the most dangerous stretches of highway in the country...whenever i enter the freeway around there i gun it and pray someone gets over.

What do you mean? I think entrance ramps that force you to change lanes in 3 seconds or less or else be forced to exit again are a great way to design a highway!
