Last time I got to pick a place to eat for my birthday I chose Madras Pavilion to mess with my in laws. The paper masala came out, those things look like cheerleader cones.
Houston is by far a better place for all things Indian. They have a huge Indian population there and have a "India Town" as well. I hate Houston but I have to give them that.
