I guess to watch on tv but maybe in general. I am going to make it on tv because I have not seen 3 of them in person but would love to. 1. College Football 2. World Class Soccer 3. Australian Rules Football 4. World Rally Racing Championship Racing 5. Formula 1 Racing The last two flip flop and I am newer to F1 so it is gaining ground. The track coming here is huge. I don't watch a lick of NBA or MLB. I like NFL well enough but nowhere near the level of college. I like NCAA hoops if it is teams I like and March Madness but that is only once a year. How 'bout you?
Fun. I'll play: 1. College Football 2. NFL (maybe closer to 1A and 1B...) 3. NBA 4. ATP Tennis 5. UFC/ MMA ... with honorable mention to NCAA Basketball. But really, I love competition and will watch most sports/events where I can develop some sort of emotionally invested following. Dumb question, by world class soccer you mean soccer played outside the USA? I'm not familiar with soccer leagues...
1. tennis 2. college basketball (men's and women's) 3. college football 4. track and field 5. college / Olympic wrestling
Here's my sports hierarchy: 1. College baseball 2. College football 3. Major League Baseball 4. NFL 5. College basketball
1. College football 2. NFL 3. College basketball 4. NBA 5. MLB As you can see, I'm pretty much a mainstream sports guy, with emphasis on football over others, college over pros. For sporting events that I love to attend but I don't care to follow on TV, I really enjoy going to hockey games and NASCAR races. It's pretty damn cool to see NASCAR races about 50 feet from the track, and the entertainment value of watching NASCAR crowds is worth the price of admission alone.
1. College football 1a. College baseball 3. Formula 1 racing 4. Tour de France cycling 5. Olympics ...Australian rules football???
College Football MLB NFL International Soccer Rugby League - not Rugby Union Basketball, well, refereeing, drives me crazy. Basketball has dropped out of my top 5.
My favorite sporting events to watch on TV 1. College Football 2. Texas Baseball 3. EPL Football (Soccer) 4. Champions League Football (Soccer) 5. NCAA Basketball Tournament
1.) Anything Longhorn 2.) college football 3.) college baseball 4.) college basketball 5.) Women's softball 6.) Pro Baseball 7.) Pro Football 8.) college volleyball 9.) toss up between NBA/golf/nascar/x games
1. Longhorn Football 2. College Football Other 3. 4. 5. NFL I grew up in Dallas living and dying with Landry's Cowboys and Royal's Horns. Free agency plus Jerry, Barry, etc. has left me with nobody to really care about in the NFL. I follow it and pull for the Cowboys, but if I have to miss a game for some reason, so be it. I won't miss a Horn game for anything but a family crisis.
1. College Football 2. College Baseball 3. College Basketball (In fairness really this is just Feb and March, I dont pay much attention in December and even January) 4. Futbol (Intl and Champions League) this could really be 3b as I watch EPL and champions league all year but March madness would be tiebraker and since W/C is every 4 years while March madness is every year I put college basketball just ahead. 5. NFL
The only things I watch on TV regularly any more are: 1. Longhorn football 2. Cowboys (grew up in Dallas) 3. Special events (World Cup, golf majors, selected Olympic events)
soccer (at any level) is completely unwatchable. i would honestly rather watch fishing, or women's golf, or a little league game. as daniel tosh would say... soccer's the most popular sport in the world thanks to 3rd world countries. kickin a ball around a giant field is HUGE fun for them. and the only reason our country ever loses a soccer game is because all our good athletes are playin REAL sports. so... my list is as follows: 1. college football 2. nfl 3. college basketball 4. college baseball 5. women's college basketball
1. College Football 2. MLB 3. NFL 4. Golf 5. International Soccer UT sports is 1a along with VY Honorable mention to College Basketball and Tennis
1. College Football 2. "Soccer" (EPL/Euro/Intl/MLS/USL/NCAA) 3. NFL 4. PGA Golf 5. College Basketball
1. College Football 2. NFL 3. College basketball 4. College Baseball 5(a). Women's College Gymnastics 5(b). Women's College Volleyball
Outside the box a bit for me... 1. College football 2. MLB (Baseball is in my blood so in spite of its faults and in spite of how bad my team is - Astros - I'm still a huge fan of the MLB) 3. College Baseball 4. NHL (I know it's a northern league but I watch the league and in particular the stanley cup playoffs in part because of the sportsmanship that is generally shown in that league 5. Wimbledon (Never been a big fan of tennis but I do love Wimbledon and try to watch it every year)
n6, you have a college/pro double decker sammich there! I love seeing the variety and subtle differences in many of these. Some are very different and that's cool too. I think the general commonality is College Football. I like Tennis quite a bit and I guess that would make the list just after the 5 slot. I agree with Husker that Wimbledon is something special. It's too bad Jai Alai is not on tv.
1. College Football 2. MLB 3. NFL 4. NBA 5. College Basketball/Golf Now the last two were tough on me. I prefer Horns basketball over any NBA team. However, if you were to ask me who would I rather watch Celtics v. Magic or Syracuse v. UConn in the regular season, I would probably take the NBA because the superstars of CBB come and go after a year nowdays. There is no sense of continuity. The Tournament is great, but that lasts a couple of weeks.
