I'm going to throw together some walking tacos - Doritos. Never had one but I think my 2 boys will love 'em. What are you cooking up?
Jalapenos stuffed with a mixture of cream and cheddar cheese and wrapped in bacon. I actually like the taste better if it is just half a jalapeno, but when you put the two halves of the jalapeno back together and wrap with a whole slice of bacon, it makes a much better visual presentation. You just have to cook it a little longer to suit most palates. The longer you cook the pepper, the milder it gets.
Sam jalapenos except with mozzarela cheese, dutchoven potatoes, (after all I am from Idaho), cubed steakes and peach cobbler
Pigs in blankets Sweet potato home fries Chili con queso Guacamole Token veggies for dipping to help unclog the arteries
Baby Back Pork Ribs from The Salt Lick Untrimmed Moist Brisket from Rudy's Chicken & Sausage Gumbo from Floyd's Queso, salsa and chips from Chuy's Enough food to elevate the cholesterol levels in twenty people so high you could walk on their arteries with golf shoes, the old kind, with metal spikes.
I think in keeping with the spirit of the game and current events that I will serve an hors d'oeuvre of toasted Ritz crackers topped with smoked ham, cheddar cheese, and a kiss of deer antler spray. That should keep everybody going till the main course.
Or, keeping in line with Texas Football, I'll get drunk, arrested, have an affair (possibly with a Tech fan), and clap when I'm released.
