^^^^ Speaking of old HF boards ... in the olden days there were some serious bomb throwers - fortunately they drifted off to Shaggy Bevo and other places.

The current HF base are mature, wise, reasonable, rational and very college football savvy people !!

 

Honestly, Shaggy/Surley is a very young crowd. I read the board from time to time but it's hard sifting through all the BS on that site. Agree that the posters here are a much more mature community. The other two sites I visit are Orange bloods, I read but never post there. My favorite place for getting news is Spurstalk Longhorn thread that runs there. It's managed by a guy named Tfloss who does a great job of updating on recruiting.

OK, I was banned at BON and BC because I brought up the sub rosa context of some BMD not being comfortable about a black coach with a white wife. It was too offensive to even consider much less discuss. And yeah, I am a cracker.
