how all you old.........

Thank you. It’s amazing what quality coaching can do. Jeff learned from two of the best. Crowd was deafening in the parking lot 3 hours before kickoff.

I told the superintendent of ISD that we should put a statue of Todd Dodge on The Reservation.

I haven’t talked to Ronnie yet but he’s the superintendent that told Adidas to f**k off and get the f**k out of his office, his school, his town, his county and his state. He called DPS and Texas Rangers to provide them an escort.

Pride. Tradition Honor. SCALP EM

We can't imagine how that was for you. To support them your whole life
and then to be there when it happened
Congratulations
Any pics will be enjoyed on Your behalf from all of us.
Does PNG realize how fortunate you are an alumnus?
Go Indians :td:

They are so fortunate that they selected my mother as "mother of the year" the year after I moved to Austin.

My HS, Brazoswood, beat PNG on the way to the 4A (the largest at that time) state title in 1974. PNG then won it in 1975. Neither school had won one since until this year for PNG. Sadly, B'wood is nowhere close to getting back. Great showout by PNG.

Phil,

I saw that 1974 game, where y'all ere a one man team. IIRC, that LB scored both your TDs. David ???. Do you whatever happened to him?

David Hodge? He went to play at UH and then after that, IDK.

I was at that game, as well, but I was only 13 at the time. I think it was in the Astrodome?

I will always remember that Port Neches took 27 buses to Freeport in the mid 60s. Band, Indianettes, JV, all three junior high teams for both 9th and 8th grade teams. All those buses in the Baytown-LaPorte tunnel at one time. Freeport offered to feed us pregame in your HS cafeteria - roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans and cake for dessert. Y'all had great cooks.

As a former Oiler fan and a current Titans season ticket holder, I love it. There are more Earl Oiler jerseys at the game than any other. They honored Billy White Shoes two games ago and Earl was on the sideline. The Texans lost me when they didn’t draft Vince.

iii,

As you know, Billy Johnson was not very big. He did not like seafood. After home games, many of the Oilers and their families would go to Charlie Angelo's on South Main. Earl would start with three dozen oysters on the half shell. Angelo had 24 specially cut pork chops prepared for Johnson. Little guy could eat them all.

If someone says Howard Cosell I picture him with his mike and toupee saying "Billy White Shoes Johnson" in preparation for a spectacular narrative of a punt or kickoff return.

Contrary, when I hear Cosell's name, I mostly think of his often and almost orgasmic praise of Muhammad Ali !!
