It is being heavily promoted. Amy overdosed on alcohol. The only song I remember from her is "They tried to get me to go to rehab and I said NO NO NO".
Her family and manager tried SO hard to save her
maybe this is like a movie why Kurt Cobain did it?

Wasn’t a big fan but I may watch it. think they’re making one about INXS, too. Many rock band movies are pretty good, even if their music wasn’t necessarily.

If they portray her heavy use of drugs and refusal to get help as her living her life "her way" it could send the wrong message to impressionable kids.
At this point I am only going off the trailer and that might not be fair.
The movie might be very different.

Not to highjack But the pro golfer Grayson Murray is dead at age 30. In good health withdrew from Colonial dead hours later
According to him and his family he battled addiction and depression.
NO ONE can know what anguish people like Murray and Winehouse go through OR how the families try to get their loved ones help.
I haven't seen the movie BUT I hope it does NOT minimize the family trying to save their loved ones
