Saw him play his last two years at North Shore. Definitely one of the best high school quarterbacks I ever saw. Threw the famous 45 yard Hail Mary to end the game in the Texas State Championship leading North Shore to a 41-35 victory over Duncanville. Not quite as stunning as the 1994 Plano East/John Tyler playoff game, but it was amazing for those who saw it. Surprised his college career has been less than stellar. Hope he does well at UTSA.

OU to Las Cruces is kinda like the KC Chiefs to the Woodlawn Jr High Braves.

McGowan, last time I saw him play, impressed as a great prospect, but that was in 2020. I was thinking his next football game might be for the "Mean Machine" inmates against guards after reading about his alleged role in robbing a small time weed dealer. Lincoln Riley threw him off the team, but I guess he was never convicted.

Hamilton at OTF said this morning he believes Texas will circle back here if Miami doesn't land him.

WOW! From a 700 SAT score to a 1500? Must be some great tutoring.

    Great work Horns11.
Terrance Cook 2022, still listed as back up olb for TCU.
2023 Trevell Johnson ULM and Derrick Brown Texas State also listed as backup lbs.
And of course several guys are listed as without a landing spot yet.
Also noticed Myron Warren (dl-Texas State) is in portal again.
Seems it never ends for some of these guys.

Correction: Terrance Cooks, not Cook. TCU olb.

Thanks horns11, didn’t realize so many transfers from 2024 and somehow I’d forgotten Casey was now with the OuSux crew.

Savion Red to Nevada per 247 portal tracker. Seems to be trend that several land at schools with old coach connections.

Yeah Nevada, UNLV, and Arizona State should be nicknamed "University of Texas at Reno, LV, and Tempe."

Isn't East Mississippi called the school of last resort? Kind of a place for players not good enough for NEOA&M

Well, never mind. It's a real school in Miami Oklahoma.

Apparently a step above the prior school-of-last-resort -- Lower East Central State College of Taxidermy and Bookbinding. :)
